CENTRAL COUNTY SEWER & PSA ISSUE ON HOLD
ONANCOCK TO LET CONTRACT FOR WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS: UTILITY COMMITTEE FORMED TO ANALYZE OPTIONS

For several months now, the Board of Supervisors has been attempting to address the concept of centralized wastewater treatment in the County. The central issue has been the expansion of the Onancock Treatment Plant from an overboard discharge permit of 250,000 gpd to 750,000 gpd. The numbers will make you think. (Click here to read more…)

BECOME PART OF THE DISCUSSION

For nearly four years, SONs has brought an alternative point of view to county government, its administration and its goals. Citizens and members have adopted various objectives in an attempt to make Accomack County a better place to live without the risks of making it look like Everywhere, USA.

Please join the discussion on any of these topics by clicking the link on the respondent's page or contact us with your suggestions. SONs will post your responses in a future edition to this page. To receive email notices when we add new content, give us your email address in the contact us page and ask to be added to our list in the comments box.
